About Us

  R&J Screenprinting and Embroidery began in April of 1989 when Robin purchased a bingo mat printing business. Robin printed these bingo mats in a 1 ½ car garage in Rose City, MI and shipped them to bingo suppliers across the country.

  Soon after acquiring the bingo mats, customers began to ask for other items such as hats and shirts. After researching the equipment needed and purchasing it, the screenprinting business began.

In 1994 Robin and Dave obtained their first Michigan Lottery shirt contract.  Soon 10,000 t-shirts had piled up in the house, and as soon as those were delivered, another 10,000 shirts arrived. Since that first order, R&J

earned a couple of Lottery contracts each year – ranging from 5,000 t-shirts or tote bags to as many as 20,000 t-shirts.

… THEN CAME EMBROIDERY

  In 1996, we acquired our first embroidery machine and began to offer customers in-house embroidered items along with the screenprinting. 

… AND A NEW LOCATION

As the business continued to grow, we moved to our present location on M-33, between West Branch and Rose City.

  The business now occupied two buildings and a second embroidery machine was purchased. Next came a cad cutter and the company began to offer vinyl lettering to our customers. 

  R&J offers actual screenprinting, embroidery, and has the ability to make and apply heat transfers, all right on premises. If a customer is having items screenprinted or embroidered, they can actually stop in and watch their order being processed! 

SPORTS & YOUTH PROGRAMS

  R&J places a strong emphasis on area youth programs. We sponsor and work with area youth sports teams; we work with various high school programs (both sports and non-sports); and we work with both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. We offer Varsity Jackets to all high school students, giving each student the opportunity to design their own, unique reflection of their high school experience. HERE WE ARE TODAY!

  R&J is open Monday thru Friday from 9:30am until 5pm. We are also available for evening and weekend appointments – feel free to call and set up an after hours appointment.
